Cheoy Lee Offshore 31

Evidently the Cheoy Lee was built in Hong Kong for the American market. They built a 28 footer and a 30 footer by lengthening the H28 to 30 feet and called it the Bermuda 30. It was much the same as the H28 and retained the transom mounted rudder. They later lengthened the stern of the Bermuda 30 and the tiller operated the rudder by a shaft down through the hull and the transom was about another 18 inches aft of that.
