In the late 1960's my father Ray Ball had a H28 build by Ferro Cement Yachts in Greenhithe, Auckland. The hull was 1/2inch Ferro, ply decks and a teak cabin top. She was launched "frances1" and was close to original with a ketch rig and pint sized cockpit, however the cabin top had a raised dodger similar to the later fiberglass models.

France's 1 was our family yacht for many years and I sailed her extensively around the gulf as a teenager.

I would love to add her history to your site, and to know what became of her.
